## What guests say (Staylist AI overview of recent reviews)
On Lake Kawaguchi, Lakeland Hotel Mizunosato is a classic older resort where the onsen runs large, some rooms carry their own, and the Mt. Fuji view is called incredible from both bath and window. Half-board brings a wide, never-repeating spread, and off-season the baths sit nearly empty. Honest flags: facilities show age, a kettle failed to auto-shut with a hot plug, bugs mean the balcony door needs care, cockroaches appeared twice in a semi-outdoor spa, and cloudy weather can hide the mountain.
- Rooms: Spacious clean rooms, some onsen.
- Service: Good service at the resort.
- Location: Lake Kawaguchi, Fuji-facing.
- Facilities: Large onsen; private spa room.
- Food: Varied half-board, limited alcohol.
- Cleanliness: Clean; insects in spa noted.
- Guests love: Incredible Fuji views; Room onsen available; Varied half-board meals
- Keep in mind: Aging facilities; Bugs on balconies; Fuji weather-dependent
- Best for: onsen stays, Fuji views, quiet escapes
