## What guests say (Staylist AI overview of recent reviews)
In the heart of Kinosaki's old onsen streets — ten minutes from the station, every public bath five to ten on foot — Yanagiso is a dated but clean inn. The included onsen pass, portable bath sets, umbrella and boot loans and an in-building private bath make touring easy, and smooth check-in and kind staff help. Quirks: a strict check-in window, in at three and out by ten, that squeezes bath touring, breakfast costs extra, and staff were once heard arguing loudly outside.
- Rooms: Dated but clean rooms matching photos.
- Service: Kind hosts; a loud staff argument once.
- Location: Central bath-street spot, ten minutes from station.
- Food: Optional paid breakfast, generous items.
- Facilities: Onsen passes, bath kits and boot loans.
- Guests love: Free town-bath passes; Central onsen access; Smooth check-in
- Keep in mind: Short in-out window; Dated fittings
- Best for: bath hoppers, budget travelers
