## What guests say (Staylist AI overview of recent reviews)
Hotel Nanpuso splits opinion: grand onsen facilities, big rooms for four, genuinely helpful staff — one team prepped a room at 3 am through storm roads — and dinners and breakfasts with variety past expectations. Against that, a dated feel, a mediocre dinner for one, and a spot an hour-interval bus or a thousand-yen taxi from Hakone-Yumoto; the entrance is tricky to find, though a staffer once guided guests the whole way.
- Rooms: Big rooms; pretty but worn in parts.
- Service: Very helpful, even at three am.
- Location: Far from the station; hourly bus or taxi.
- Food: Great variety; one flat dinner reported.
- Facilities: Grand onsen facilities and easy walks.
- Guests love: Excellent onsen; Rooms fit families; Standout staff effort
- Keep in mind: Dated facilities; Inconvenient station access; Uneven dinners
