## What guests say (Staylist AI overview of recent reviews)
A living piece of 1890 by a bus stop bound for Lake Ashi, Fukuzumiro offers five onsens — three bookable on the day — and in-room kaiseki dinners that flex for seafood-averse guests if warned, plus suitcase-carrying service. Heritage has edges: a fifteen-minute uphill haul from the station with bags, no in-room toilets, stairs to the third floor, and one room landed beside a toilet without a view.
- Rooms: Historic rooms; some lack views and toilets.
- Service: Near-perfect service; suitcases carried.
- Location: Uphill fifteen minutes from the station.
- Food: In-room kaiseki, adapted when warned.
- Facilities: Five onsens, three same-day bookable.
