“Baden-Baden's roomers stay”
In Baden-Baden, the hotel proves a split-verdict stay: very good rooms, valet parking, a very good on-site restaurant — the downstairs high-end Japanese spot strongly recommended — a nice spa, good breakfast and a super attentive rooftop team, one named. Serious complaints though: an absolute-catastrophe check-in from a mega-unfriendly desk lady, and a severe billing saga, tax and deposit double-charged, noticed only via the card statement, a promised refund still outstanding a month on with calls unanswered per that guest; plus a hard-to-reach town location and a busy loud rooftop that disturbs the spa.
