“Hotel Ascott's split”
Ascott Makati is a great go-to stay for many — a perfect heart-of-the-city location near many shopping malls with restaurants in easy reach, reassuring security, extremely attentive staff, an exceptional room, a well-maintained pool, and a reliable record for a flight transit. Caveats though are serious: a dissent reports a mouldy room that was changed after complaint but calls it a hotel-wide issue echoed by other reviewers, with the older side worse kept than the newer side and uneven front-desk handling.
