“Atocha's stylish station perch”
Only YOU Hotel Atocha sits directly opposite the station — a stylish design hotel with a seventh-floor breakfast enjoying great views, a metro entrance ten metres away, and friendly helpful staff; Barcelona arrivals find it superbly convenient. The practical gripes: roadworks currently force a three-street detour, hot and cold water fluctuates, soundproofing could improve, breakfast has range but merely passable quality, air-conditioning ventilation is mediocre, there is no TV casting, the lobby outshines the rooms, and one guest found the rate unjustified. A management reply is excluded.
