Renaissance Danang Hoi An Resort & Spa splits opinion. Fans call it among the best in Hoi An: an amazing pool and views, a lovely clean private beach, a nice villa with private pool, spacious beautiful-view rooms, a complete free-access gym, sauna, steam and jacuzzi, a full tasty breakfast, a free old-town shuttle and a stay-in atmosphere. A serious dissent though: the villa sat far from a weedy bulldozer-crossed beach with poor sea views, the living-room TV couldn't stream, privacy was lacking — staff entered the courtyard while the guest was in bed — and the villa BBQ ran costly.
