Renaissance Bali Nusa Dua Resort is a superb huge manicured-green resort — spacious clean pretty rooms with sofa balconies (a member upgrade added sea views), four always-clean styled pools, a shuttle to a good-quality private beach club, fresh-pressed-juice breakfasts, tasty restaurants where Steaksmith stood out, surprisingly-fun free activities like the Rindik instrument session, and friendly excellent staff. Caveats though: it sits off the sea, a damp smell lingered on the sixth floor, distant daytime construction was audible from one balcony, and Coco mart is a ten-minute walk.
