“Sercotel Parque's storied harbor stay”
Sercotel Hotel Parque is Las Palmas' grand historic hotel — the island's second-ever grand hotel, with the old switchboard phone system displayed in the lobby and a restaurant overlooking ocean-going freighters; it offers a perfect location near the bus terminal, old town and supermarkets, a rich quality western buffet breakfast, warm reception and clean tidy rooms. Notes: towels ran short for two, the TV remote is fiddly, the breakfast lacks vegetables, a classic-room booking arrived as an adapted room with no apology, and bundled breakfast inflates the rate.
