“Montreal's best western”
On the east side toward Quebec City — a Cora brunch opposite — Best Western Plus Montreal East is a very good so-good second-visit stay: a very clean newly-renovated high-ceiling room with a nice bathroom, a nice gym, satisfactory friendly service and stores and restaurants minutes away. Cautions though: no included breakfast, a cramped bathroom with a protruding mid-floor drain that tripped a guest and English-only ease for one.
