“Southbank's gateway suites”
Near South Bank and Flinders Street Station on a quiet convenient pocket — the SkyBus stop a fifteen-minute walk, trams at the door, free-zone city sights — Clarion Suites Gateway is a best-value-in-years stay: a nice clean two-bedroom suite with all basics, a great bed, a Yarra-river night view, daily cleanliness, kitchen-equipped apartment format, microwave-fridge-crockery and a same-floor pool. Nits: a slightly-old building, rooms not wide and railway-adjacent noise for river-facing rooms; plus a cancelled-booking alert over an unchargeable card.
