“Beautiful new Riyadh stay, broken promises”
Crowne Plaza Riyadh Al Takhassusi is a beautiful new hotel near the city centre — lovely rooms, wonderful hospitality, honest dealings and top cleanliness for most. One stay unravelled badly though: the AC stayed freezing and the water heater broke despite repair attempts; agreed food compensation disappointed; belongings left for refrigeration came back dripping wet; and a promised manager call never came after 24 hours. Smaller misses: the pool wasn't ready and the in-room coffee machine arrived needing wiring.
