“Changi's split verdict”
Crowne Plaza Changi Airport by IHG is a very convenient stay for most — walkable from the terminals and a first choice for late arrivals and early departures, a clean spacious upgraded room with a spotless bathtub and very nice shower amenities, a clean lively pretty kid-friendly lobby, great amenities and the best night's sleep after a flight. Caveats though: a severe dissent says that beyond the Terminal Three location it saw no five-star quality — takeoff and landing noise nearly prevented sleep, the room smelled heavily of mildew and felt humid, decor and toiletries felt more basic-hotel grade, and a rain-setting shower soaked clothes; that guest would rather stay downtown.
