“Mt. Pleasant's mini break”
Courtyard Mt. Pleasant at Central Michigan University is a lovely second-stay pick — clean spacious rooms, a perfect-temperature pool and hot tub the grandkids enjoyed, excellent bar food and drinks, and couldn't-be-nicer friendly helpful staff; housekeeping was quick to swipe hair from the water. Caveats though: a dissent calls service rude — a balcony room change was flatly refused — the jacuzzi needed maintenance, and no yoga mats live in the exercise room.
