Dusit Thani Kyoto is a beautiful will-return stay — a brand-faithful choice after a Bangkok visit, with impeccable warm service from porch welcome through desk, room service and breakfast, every request handled efficiently, excellent cleanliness with twice-daily room care, a comfortable room, a top-service restaurant offering wide variety, and a buffet-plus-order breakfast with fresh melon that suited tastes. Caveats though: the swimming pool is adults-only — children face height and age limits — and walking proved easier than working out the public transport.
