Mondrian Bordeaux les Carmes is a lovely gorgeous stay — a nice fresh magnificently-decorated hotel with a spacious modern room, a superb breakfast rich in homemade products, great amenities — especially the relaxing pool, sauna and steam bath after long travels — and great friendly helpful staff; guests recommend and will visit again. Caveats though: the location sits slightly outside the city center — fifteen minutes for some, about forty on foot for others — fine for walkers.
