The Savoy is an outstanding century-landmark stay — big new rooms pairing historic character with modern top-tier fittings, clean bedding and bathrooms, an authentic English and good breakfast, a great gym and indoor pool, an elegant old-money lobby, a convenient spot near Covent Garden, Jubilee Market and the London Eye, and warm polite everyone — the mustached sincere desk, the enthusiastic doorman, and an especially-thoughtful concierge who upgraded a family of three. Ask for an upgrade. No material complaints appeared.
