“Mitte's tram-side stay”
Five minutes' walk from Museum Island — the station and restaurants close, transport easy Monbijou Hotel is a very clean friendly stay: a small fully-equipped clean room, helpful warm front-desk staff who fixed a missing-kettle problem and a second visit that landed a better bigger quieter-side room with a working AC. Cautions though: a street-view room sits beside tram and train noise at night a still-loud AC blocked sleep for one and a two-hour power cut hit another.
