Five minutes from Sam Yan MRT and seven from Sala Daeng BTS in the middle of Silom with a 7-Eleven opposite and massage spots around, Montien Hotel Surawong Bangkok is a pleasant central stay: very friendly staff and excellent service, welcome drinks and fruit, clean tidy rooms — a four-person twin with separated bath and bidet toilet let a family rotate in half an hour — no traffic noise, an own parking lot, and a small but adequate gym and pool. Nits: the AC ran too cold and water pressure left hot water lukewarm; some report the breakfast ends early.
