“La Scaletta's Ponte Vecchio perch”
Hotel La Scaletta Al Ponte Vecchio has a perfect Florence location — exit straight onto the bridge, everything walkable including the station fifteen hundred meters away, a wonderful rooftop bar, attentive helpful staff, and great food. The negatives are sharp though: one severe review alleged racist desk treatment, a clogged drain with bugs surging up, and a dark damp smelly room; another got a dark small noisy corner room, and the building layout is a labyrinth.
