“Okachimachi's ici stay”
A convenient Ueno spot — under ten minutes to the station, a 7-Eleven beside, Ueno Park next door, direct Skyliner airport access Ici Hotel Ueno Shin Okachimachi is a good nice affordable stay: a clean new-ish room big enough for a proper work desk, attentive helpful staff, a quiet location, a lobby treat of Korean red-ginseng pomegranate drink and a will-return verdict. One nit: a reception that didn't greet a first for that Japan traveller.
