“Grand Terreaux's Lyon spot”
Grand Hotel des Terreaux is a beautiful friendly Lyon hotel surrounded by some of the city's best restaurants — a spacious single room, a cute little pool (winter water too cold), a huge car park nearby, a good breakfast choice, and kind attentive staff. Notes: another room ran small in a Paris-like way, a corridor history display struck one solo traveler as creepy, one stay faced reservation problems before resolution, the property needs some renovation, and one room had a strange smell.
