Hotel la Lanterne & Spa by Timhotel is a very clean, modern, quiet Latin Quarter hotel — large-for-Paris rooms and an especially big bathroom, a corner market guests call incredible, a spot five minutes from Shakespeare and Company, ten from Notre-Dame, fifteen from the Panthéon and near St-Germain and the metro, warm accommodating staff (Adam stands out) whose suite blocked Fête de la Musique street noise, incredibly comfortable beds, and a spa guests missed but will return for. The note: breakfast is simple with no hot dishes — the nearby cafes serve better baked goods.
