Fairfield by Marriott Hangzhou Xiaoshan is a convenient satisfied stay for many — a modern-minimalist hotel about three minutes from the metro and twenty from the airport, bright clean rooms with a Simmons bed, floor-to-ceiling window, soundproofing and a dry-wet separated bathroom, a rich breakfast with a must-try made-to-order noodle station, 24-hour gym and laundry, robot service, free parking, and professional efficient care including the warm Xiao Ding. Caveats though: a severe report describes a damp musty odor in the room that persisted through a room change, skin irritation the guest linked to it, and average housekeeping.
