“Fairfield Barstow's road stop”
Fairfield Inn & Suites Barstow is a regulars' highway stop — immaculate well-decorated modern rooms, a great decent breakfast, a nice lobby bar with personable bartender Angel and a half-off happy hour, a small gym and pool, outlet shopping opposite, and helpful friendly desk staff; one road-tripper ranked it best of a cross-country run. Two strong dissenters though: one found paper-thin walls and no hot water (a small credit offered), and another cited a single overwhelmed bartender, all-night noise and tiny rooms.
