“New Matosinhos beach base, tight parking”
Four Points by Sheraton Matosinhos is a modern, clean and comfortable new hotel a five-minute walk from the beach — perfect for seaside stays and scenic runs along the sea-and-river road toward Porto. Rooms and bathrooms are beautiful and fragrant, staff are warm and helpful, breakfast bread is delicious (though the ham and sausages ran salty), and restaurants plus a big mall sit nearby, with the airport close and traffic light. One recurring caution: the parking garage is narrow, confusing and awkward to descend into.
