“Oike's four points flex”

In a well-placed area with convenient transport across a small city, Four Points Flex by Sheraton Kyoto Oike is a liked-it worth-it stay for many: friendly staff, good services, food and amenities, clean rooms and an okay solo business base for a night or two. A severe dissent though: a chemical smell in a first non-sunny room that left two guests dizzy — a pregnant guest got a swap — then an AC leak dripping onto pillows and luggage with no same-facing room left, forcing an AC-off night and an early departure from a seven-night booking; plus windows that basically don't open.

Rooms: Clean amid the severe smell and leak pan.
Service: Friendly amid the ordeal noted on most stays.
Location: Well placed for guests here on most stays.
Food: Good food for guests here on most stays.
Facilities: Amid the window and AC pans.
Value: Mixed amid the severe dissent on most stays.
Cleanliness: Fine amid the smell report on most stays.
