Santiburi Koh Samui is a big green 1992 estate returning guests treat like home — birdsong mornings, a clean quiet beach with enough loungers and hammocks, spacious tasteful rooms with comfy mattresses, excellent breakfasts, and a pool called Samui's largest plus free Muay Thai, sailing and kayaking. Butler-style service brings welcome fruit and quickly re-roomed a guest after a loft-stairs head bump. Dated edges show: one check-in found the booked room type gone and a smaller older substitute offered until a manager intervened, and the Thai restaurant dinner was ordinary for the spend.
