“Painted Lady's vibe split”
The Painted Lady is a really cool loved stay — beautiful comfortable rooms, a great vibe, free parking, a good location, and on-call luggage help since there's no lift (top-floor arrivals found the stairs daunting but staff helped them adapt). Caveats though: the shower runs slippery, a towel ring and drape hooks needed repair (a heavy drape fell), and one guest calls it literally just a room — paying for aesthetics.
