Nouvo City Hotel is an excellent Bangkok hotel near Khao San Road — a great post-flight relaxer with two pools (canal-side and newer fancier wings both good), huge rooms with comfy beds and lovely showers, a varied tasty breakfast with a halal option plus an on-site halal restaurant, a 7-Eleven and pharmacy next door, early check-in granted, and proactive housekeeping. Notes: electrical fittings are incomplete in places, only two towels came for three guests, the gym is so-so, and third-floor rooms near the pool smell of mold.
