“Cape town's fountains”
Fountains Hotel earns came-through marks for some: staff resolving earlier struggles for a great stay. Dissents though carry severe weight: a refused date-change and refund after a global outage cancelled flights, a broken-cooling room left with a fan, a break-in-able window latch, leaking shower and cooling, a below-four-star read, room-to-room inconsistency, an iffy night neighbourhood, missing hairdryer and uninsulated old windows.
