“Cartagena's plaza hotel”
Directly opposite the public beach, Hotel Cartagena Plaza earns excellent-weekend marks for some: very kind staff, a varied quality buffet and a privileged seafront calm. Dissents though carry severe weight: a most-terrifying report — an unmaintained abandoned look with bad-smelling stained pillows prompting immediate departure — plus chaos and improvised desk treatment for non-tour guests, a guard stopping every entry and exit, a stuck lift with an unanswered help call and a weak air conditioner against the humidity.
