“Vegas's mardi gras”
Near the convention centre, Mardi Gras Hotel & Casino earns good-value convenient marks for many: free parking, an onsite restaurant and pool, a good breakfast, a nice big two-bed room with dining nook and fridge and easy check-in. Dissents though carry severe weight: a dust-everywhere report — under-bed tissues, two killed bugs and a last-night sickness — plus anyone-can-enter security, slow summer cooling and a hot shower as the lone bright spot.
