“Downtown NY gem, worn edges”
Artezen Hotel is a lower-Manhattan favourite a minute from the subway near Wall Street: very comfortable beds with properly covered duvets — praised as the cleanest of one NYC trip — an enclosed rooftop bar with good views and a 4–6pm happy hour, fast deposit refunds, a casual breakfast spot connected via the lobby and lots of eateries around. Staff earn five stars for effort when issues arise. Honest notes: rooms are a little worn — a clunky shower door — and the air conditioner blows directly at the bed, a design gripe for light sleepers.
