Playa Grande Resort is a historic Cabo San Lucas resort where every room faces the sea — sunrise on one side, sunset on the other — a nice infinity pool overlooking the beach, spacious ocean-view rooms, delicious restaurants, poolside events, and the marina, nightlife, fishing and whale-watching piers all a short walk. Two real complaints: bartender Rogelio was extremely rude — refused questions and glared — and the resort would not honour a two-bedroom booking made through a third party, which came through as one bedroom.
