“Gatlinburg's split verdict”
Hilton Garden Inn Gatlinburg is a nice clean stay — walkable to everything for dining and shopping yet out of the thickest tourist traffic, a comfortable very clean room, a relaxing outdoor lounge, nice helpful staff, and a fantastic check-in clerk. Caveats though: one guest called the room dated — a loud air conditioner, no night light and a plain bathroom — the breakfast extremely simple, torn carpet by the bathroom door posed a trip hazard with a tile chunk missing, and parking is charged when it should be complimentary.
