“Rio's royalty barra”
Facing the beach amid eateries, Royalty Barra Hotel earns liked-for-location marks: biggish clean rooms, a sea-view row and convenient surroundings. Dissents though carry weight: a broken balcony-door lock tied shut with a cable, a severe report of very rude unhelpful desk staff with no empathy, weak room wifi, an eleven-am checkout versus neighbours' later, checkout rushing, a scattered breakfast layout and salty parking and minibar rates.
