“Bellwether House's Savannah warmth”
Bellwether House is a beautiful historic Savannah inn — warm authentic staff (Paul, Matt and Scarlett praised as hosts), an outstanding breakfast with many options, lovely tea-time snacks and a champagne toast, inviting porch and sitting areas, a spacious room with huge windows and attractive decor, and a location steps from Forsyth Park and downtown yet peaceful. Even an outside basement room won approval. The misses: a room with no dresser meant no unpacking; breakfast ran inconsistent with store-bought rather than homemade pastries for one guest who also wanted a microwave and makeup wipes; and the mattress was a bit soft for some.
