“Springfield's homewood suites”
Fifteen minutes from downtown DC with restaurants and a shopping centre across the road, Homewood Suites by Hilton Springfield is a great more-than-five-star stay for many: an excellent all-round staff from desk to maintenance, a really good breakfast with ready help, a decent good-area hotel and pet-friendliness. Cautions though: an unadvertised weekend-closed bar, a loud floor party, paid garage parking, no decent dog-potty grass patch and one out-of-service elevator.
