Hilton Mexico City Reforma is a conveniently-located hotel — speedy check-in, walkable to Templo Mayor, Zócalo, Palacio Postal and Bellas Artes, many Chinese restaurants nearby, roomy clean rooms with separate toilet and shower, a nice spa and pool, a many-choices breakfast, and attentive staff who made a girlfriend's birthday special. One serious complaint: a brand-new-room stay had a broken, loudly-puffing AC; an engineer could not fix it, the replacement room was also noisy, sleep was lost, the fixed shower head is inconvenient, and breakfast was judged worse than the Sheraton's.
