“HIE Mystic's closure saga”
Holiday Inn Express Mystic - Groton Area by IHG drew a great-location report — big beautiful very clean family rooms and extremely nice helpful staff — but multiple severe reports say the property is closed: guests arrived after ten hours of travel to a door note citing a pipe burst, with no warning, no area rebooking, and third-party agents blamed; one called it a customer-service disgrace. Earlier, a room beside a very loud elevator ran not-super clean.
