“Bangsar's new stay”
In Bangsar — a local middle-class neighbourhood a short ride from the sights, near Mid Valley mall and the metro — Holiday Inn Kuala Lumpur Bangsar by IHG is a new very good-experience stay: huge rooms with comfortable beds, a clean very tidy hotel, attentive quick friendly staff at every level, a doorman even helps with car boarding, a separate first-floor check-in, welcome drinks, a loved rich Malay-leaning breakfast with a recommended omelette, and a surprise birthday cake and room setup that moved one guest. One nit: the in-room water filter, a nice eco idea, wasn't as clean as hoped.
