“Pattaya's holiday inn”
On Soi Buakhao in lively central Pattaya — songthaews outside, a 7-Eleven nearby — Holiday Inn Express Pattaya Central by IHG is a nice convenient stay: a clean tidy compact-but-sufficient room with Dove toiletries, a comfortable-pressure shower, excellent staff treatment, free coffee, laundry facilities and a decent breakfast with made-to-order eggs and bacon. Dissents though: a seven-year-old already-worn feel, chipped furniture, a canteen-like below-average breakfast for one and traffic noise on the through-road.
