DoubleTree by Hilton Chengdu Riverside is one-of-the-best stays — satisfactory high-floor rooms overlooking central Chengdu, one of the best breakfasts with many western and eastern varieties, great nearly-round-the-clock hawker food behind the hotel, a good near-the-mall easy-to-find location, and nice excellent staff — Xiao Sun and prompt Xiaoxiong plus concierge Susie, who delivered luggage, collected and mailed parcels, brought takeout to rooms, answered travel questions and registered parking tickets; guests definitely recommend.
