In a convenient spot guests return to every Doha trip, DoubleTree by Hilton Doha Old Town is a pleasant family-and-group pick: excellent supportive staff with a notably-nice front desk, comfortable rooms, free lobby drinks, free parking, a fair rate and a very good breakfast. Two notes: shower water pressure ran weak, and one room carried a strong cigarette smell that was very unpleasant.
