DoubleTree by Hilton Madinah Gate is a clean, new hotel literally inside the train station — no braving the heat outside — with a shuttle bus to the mosque roughly every half hour that moved one solo guest deeply. Rooms are fantastic, quiet and cool with excellent beds, spotless floors and bathrooms, fresh linens, medium-firm mattresses, steady hot water and soft towels. Staff are extremely friendly, check-in efficient, housekeeping polite and prompt; prayer-time buses, nearby shops and dining, and a 10/10 review end the story.
