“Mauritius beachfront split”
On a good beach with very beautiful grounds and unbeatable ocean and night views, Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa draws great-stay verdicts: excellent very friendly service, nice food — dinners lean Indian with plenty of meats — a great bar, free paddleboards and enough on site to stay put. Cautions though: the decor feels dated, the beach is public with non-guests passing through, dinner water including bottled is charged, one guest found staff attitude poor and recommends the neighbouring Sofitel for sunsets, and French-speaking guests predominate.
