“Vienna's waterfront hilton”
Right on the Danube — a ten-minute metro walk through a residential patch, riverside runs out the door — Hilton Vienna Waterfront is a lovely Valentine's stay for many: working air conditioning, a nice pool, a wide breakfast buffet and clean tidy spaces with river views. Dissents though: a severe extra-person fee surprise at check-in, negotiated down while staff framed it as a favour, a far-from-centre spot dark after nightfall, a dear average breakfast and a just-okay verdict.
