“Scott's castle stay”
The Scott is a great cozy stay — a perfect quiet spot near Holyrood Palace and a university campus with a beautiful hill behind, old-money castle decor, a clean responsible hotel, a delicious exquisite breakfast, and a sunny room on request. Caveats though: the location sits away from the centre, guests report daily mix-ups with the similarly-named Scott Hotel, and one room ran damp in its wooded setting — asking for a sunny-facing room apparently avoids it — and standard rooms run small.
